Is Plugchoice really free?
Yes. The core platform is completely free with no charger limits, no time limits and no hidden fees. You only pay if you activate optional Smart Charging features like Power Management or Tariff Management.
Which charger brands are supported?
Plugchoice works with any OCPP-compatible charger. That includes 360+ brands and counting. If your charger speaks OCPP 1.6, it works with Plugchoice.
Can I use Plugchoice alongside my current backoffice?
Absolutely. Our OCPP Proxy feature lets you run Plugchoice in parallel with any existing backoffice. It takes one click to set up and there is zero disruption to your current operations.
How fast is your support?
We aim to respond to every support request within 5 minutes during business hours. You can reach us through in-app chat in both the web portal and mobile app, or via email.
Do end-users get their own app?
Yes. Plugchoice includes a mobile app for end-users where they can start and stop sessions, view charging history and manage their cards. It is the only OCPP-based app for end-users in the world.
How do I migrate my chargers to Plugchoice?
Simply update the OCPP URL on your chargers to point to Plugchoice. For most brands this can be done remotely. Our team is happy to help with the migration if you have a larger fleet.
Is there an API available?
Yes. Our REST API gives you full programmatic control over all OCPP chargers. It supports OAuth2 authentication and provides full CRUD operations for locations, chargers, sessions and more.
